ASOS was roasted for selling latex-style stockings for Halloween.
The Ann Summers knee-highs are a bright red colour and retail for £15.
They’d be great if you want to get dressed up in the bedroom on October 31.
But Instagram users pointed out the skin-tight stockings look tricky to slip into.
Followers of the asbos_sos Instagram page, which has 37,400 followers who enjoy mocking quirky ASOS clothing, tore into the accessory.
The social media account wrote: “This Halloween just imagine trying to put these on after a bath and then cry yourself to sleep.”
The comedy Instagram page went on to reference a scene from Friends where Ross has a wardrobe malfunction in leather trousers.
Amusingly, the character can’t get his bottoms back on after a trip to the bathroom.
He calls Joey for advice, before deciding to smother his legs in talcum powder.
When that fails, he uses lotion in attempt to get the trousers up.
Dismayed, he explained: “They’re still not coming on man and the lotion and the powder have made a paste!”
In reference to the hilarious scene, the @asbos_sos page used some witty hashtags.
They added #TalcWontWork #HaveUSeenFriends and #ItsMakingAPasteJoey.
Followers of the Instagram account were left in stitches by the observation.
One responder laughed: “Talc dough incoming!”
And another said: “The caption! Lol.”
This isn't the only ASOS item to go viral recently.
