A fashion fan left her followers in fits of laughter after revealing what her new £75 coat actually looks like on her.

Excited Eve Curran spotted the trendy winter wear on ASOS - and quickly fell in love with it.

The brown croc vinyl trench coat looks totally stylish online and comes in seven sizes.

Eve didn't hang around and was quick to place her order.

But when it arrived it wasn't exactly what she had in mind - it could have fit her whole family!

She tweeted: "Expectations vs reality @ASOS "

Things didn't go to plan when she got her hands on the coat

Then she posted under it a picture of how it looked online - and an image of herself overwhelmed by the jacket in her bedroom.

Eve was swamped by the coat - and it left her followers in stitches.

The post garnered more than 150 likes – and many were equally amused by the mishap.

One responder admitted: “Naw Eve. I laughed so much.”

And the ASOS shopper responded: “Hahahaha how funny is that.”

She loved the style in the online snaps - but it didn't look great on her!

This isn't the only ASOS fashion fail we've seen in recent months.

Earlier this month, the online retailer was roasted for selling spiky Crocs that have been described as "2020 in a shoe".

And previously, the retailer was mocked for selling frilly shorts "that look like nappies".

Meanwhile, ASOS shoppers laughed at an underboob bikini and said 'there's more fabric on a tea towel'.

In other news, the store was also ridiculed for selling fake earphones that don't actually play any sound. Bizarrely, the item is actually just meant to be an accessory.
