The UK has been named the fetish capital of the world, according to one study.
The sexy survey, carried out by SlotsUp, found that Brits love a range of fetishes - including sploshing and dogging.
According to research, 1 in six people – or 1.3 billion, say they have a fetish.
And it seems a lot of them are Brits if this data is anything to go by.
The study saw the UK appearing in the top five countries for popularity for nine out of 20 fetishes which were listed.
These were sploshing, voyeurism, wax play, urolagnia, swinging, dogging, spectrophilia, choking and dominatrix.
It seems dogging is a particular favourite amongst Brits, as the UK came out as top for countries who enjoy the fetish.
Dogging fans watch sexual activities in semi-secluded locations such as parks or car parks, which are often arranged by e-mail or text messages.
In terms of area, London had the biggest range of fetishes, with residents enjoying pleasure and pain with food-related sploshing (messy play) and the more rough acts of impact play.
The south seems to enjoy sex as a team sport, with group sex and cuckolding popular in the southern half of the UK.
In Europe, Finland came in top for the risky thrill of exhibitionism. While bondage was a favourite of the German nation, a country infamous for its kinky culture.
Italy is known for its beautiful coastal towns, perhaps this explains their love for all things wet as they come out top for squirting.
The study found that overall, across all countries, BDSM (roleplaying involving bondage, discipline, dominance and submission) is the most searched fetish of them all with an eye-watering 1.7 million searches a month. This is followed by bondage, fisting and squirting.
Seems we're in for a very kinky 2021 if this study is anything to go by.
