An ingenious black woman who is sick of racists telling her to "go back to her country" has set up a fundraising page for them to fund her plane ticket.

Jordene says she has been subjected to so much abuse she now feels alienated in the UK, and wishes to leave the country as a result.

In a state of fury, she set up GoFundMe page on Friday which has already raised over £200 and gone viral – with messages of support flooding in for 20-year-old.

This comes as Black Lives Matter protests have erupted in the US and across the world as activists fight back against the disproportionate killings of black people by police.

Jordene, from Barking in east London, said: “A lot of people think it’s the most intelligent thing that anyone has done in 2020, playing on the mind of racists.

“There are people who are giving their money and calling me the N-word so they’re supporting me without supporting me.

“They’ve clearly got so much hate for my race.

“Someone actually donated me fifty pound and called me the N word.

“I’m crying but I’m crying all the way to the bank."

The fundraising page, which has set out to raise £5,000 to fund Jordene’s plane ticket back to Jamaica, has also been inundated with racist and abusive comments.

Jordene has suffered years of racist abuse despite living in the UK all her life

“I do intend to leave because I like to be around people I feel I can relate to.

“I feel like an alien here sometimes.

“Sometimes the racism is just blatant and sometimes it’s institutionalised because people get opportunities that I wouldn't get.

“The anger has been build up over time.”

Jordene said many of her family members did return to Jamaica with the exception of her mother who still lives in the UK.

She added: “My grandparents were of the Windrush generation.

“They were lied to and brought to the UK where they couldn’t get jobs are were subjected to racism.

“A lot of people think racism is disappearing but it’s not, it’s in a different form.”
