A paranormal investigator claims he spotted two ghosts on the way home from buying tobacco after he got a “really bad feeling.”
Shaken bloke Simon Smirk, 40, claimed he experienced a ghostly presence as he walked home on Salt House Road near Sutton Manor.
He said he was on his way home with his girlfriend at around 3am when he "got a really bad" creeping feeling.
Mr Smirk quickly pulled out his camera and took pictures of his surroundings to see if he could spot anything.
The investigator said he saw two apparitions in several different photographs and claims to have felt "real bad energy."
Mr Smirk said he then felt like he had been "punched" and it made him feel real "uneasy."
He told HullLive : "I was only going to the garage to get some tobacco and some milk that night, but on the way home I just felt something and started taking pictures," said Mr Smirk.
"The pictures that I took show two ghostly figures – one taller than the other and there was real bad energy around them."
Adding: "When I saw them, I felt like someone had punched me in the chest and it made me real uneasy.
"I've not seen any apparitions before and it freaked me out."
It has been over a year since Mr Smirk first started ghost hunting after he witnessed what he believes a ghost moving a shampoo bottle in his partner's home.
He has now invested in "spirit boxes" in which names can be heard and now he wants to carry out more investigations.
Mr Smirk said: "I've got Asperger's and since I was really young I've been able to pick up on energies and feel them and it kind of drains me.
"I'm now intrigued to find out more and will be carrying out more investigations."
