A pregnant woman was stunned when her neighbour's friendly cat started lovingly "kneading" her baby bump.
In the sweet clip, uploaded on TikTok by user @triciaflaherty7, the female calico cat perches on the windowsill next to where the expecting mum is sitting in a chair.
With its head buried in the baby bump, the cat uses her front paws to gently massage her.
It seems the cat has been performing the duty for some time because the mum's hoodie is covered in white cat hair.
Joking in the caption, she wrote: "Well I guess my neighbour's cat knows I'm pregnant."
The video has been "liked" more than 690,000 times on the video-sharing app since it was shared in late October and cat lovers rushed to comment on the adorable scene.
"STOP THAT’S SO CUTE OMG," gushed one viewer.
A second person claimed: "When cats do this they are trying to take your stress away."
"So amazingly sweet," fawned another user.
Meanwhile, other TikTok users reckoned their own feline friends had acted strangely during their pregnancies.
One woman claimed: "My cat Shadow used to be like that any time I was pregnant.
"He would never leave my side and after he would guard the babies."
Similarly, another mum said: "My baby was beech and my cat sat directly on top of where her head was and purred.
"The baby flipped around the right way."
Cats are said to perform the kneading action when feeling happy or as a way to "claim" an area with the scent glands in their paws, according to LiveScience.
This comes after a pregnant stray cat was filmed walking into a hospital to give birth to her litter of kittens – who were luckily born healthy.
