Concerns are growing for a teenage girl who was reported missing over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
The last confirmed sighting of 15-year-old Seesha Dack was at the Fish Quay in North Shields at around 7pm on Sunday, August 30.
More than 36 hours on from her disappearance, police they are growing increasingly concerned for the Seesha’s welfare and are urging members of the public with any information they may have come forward.
A police helicopter using thermal imaging cameras was deployed overnight to aid in the search.
Concerned neighbours have launched a dedicated Facebook page collecting possible sightings of the missing teen.
A poster shared on the page reads: "None of her friends or family have seen her and her phone is off."
The poster added: "Seesha needs to be found, the police are looking for her, she’s not in trouble everyone is just concerned.”
Dozens of people have commented on the page, offering their help and sympathy. One or two commenters have reported possible sightings but these remain as yet unconfirmed.
Seesha has long brown hair and left her family home on Sunday wearing a khaki green North Face jacket and black leggings.
She owns a distinctive face mask, which features a black with a white cartoon mouth printed on it.
Northumbria Police are asking anyone who believes they might have seen Seesha or knows of her whereabouts to call them as soon as possible on 101 and quote the reference number 947 300820.
