London’s West End was the scene of a savage fight this weekend as two smartly-dressed woman had a major brawl in the middle of Leicester Square.
The pair wrestled one another to the ground, landing massive punches as they pulled each others’ hair.
At one point a man and a women, seemingly friends of the feuding females, tried to break up the fight but without success.
For much of the mid-afternoon ding-dong, the furious women seemed oblivious that a crowd had gathered to watch their antics, even when one of the duo’s skirt rode up as part of her exertions.
But eventually one of the women realised that the crowd they’ve drawn had started photographing them and screamed: “Oh my God! Why is everyone filming?”
Seemingly unaware that she was in the capital’s most popular spot for movie premieres, she added: “It’s not a f****ing film show is it? You’re in London.”
The bust-up took place around 4pm on Saturday February 1, outside the Shake Shack restaurant.
Piotr Kotlarz, who took several photos of the fight, said that he tried to break up the fight between the women but one of them told him to “f*** off”.
It’s unclear what exactly sparked the brawl.
One of the duo did call the other a “fat c***” – which may well have contributed to the hostilities.
There was a good deal of to-ing and fro-ing until the blonde woman hooked her leg around her rival and grappled her to the pavement.
Not to be outdone, the lady in red repeatedly hit the blonde woman over the head.
The scrap continued at pavement level for quite some time.
As it did so a friend of one of the combatants, a young lady in a pink trench coat, rebuked the numerous people talking photos of the undignified contest.
She shouted: “We’re trying to sort this s*** out, you f***ing idiots!”
Eventually, the woman in the the pink trench coat demanded “get up, we’re going” as the fight broke up and everyone carried on with their Saturday.
