A YouTube star has been left in tears as a woman who appeared in one of her viral videos has gone missing.

Nabela Noor is "at a loss for words" and is using her platform to help find missing Melida Sandoval.

The 36-year-old was reported missing by her family on September 1, just two years after appearing in the popular YouTube video, Nabela's show The Bright Fight.

Social media influencer, Nabela, 29, who has 1.6 million followers on Instagram posted a heartbreaking tweet to raise awareness.

On Twitter she wrote: "I am at a loss for words. This beautiful soul, Melida is missing. I am thankful to know her and call her a friend. Please PLEASE RT & share. Her name is MELIDA SANDOVAL. PLEASE SHARE!"

The pair met more than two years ago

In a follow-up tweet she added: "This beautiful human, Melida Sandoval who was a guest on my show a few years back is missing.

"Melida is the kindest, sweetest soul who radiates goodness and love."

The influencer also used Instagram and TikTok in a bid to find Melida, she shared footage from her appearance on her channel.

Nabela urged fans to share the post

Nabela's video, which was released on October 23, 2018, was a social experiment asking people about their relationship with their body image.

Participants were made to stand in front of a mirror in the middle of Venice Pier.

Melida revealed she had a difficult day as someone had called her "fat and ugly" at work.

"I hope that when you look in the mirror you see the beautiful girl I see," Nabela replied.

"If you had a mirror back home that could talk back to you, what would you want the mirror to tell you?"

Melida was last seen on September 1

To which Melida replied tearfully: "That I look pretty, that it doesn't matter what other people say."

During the experiment Nabela then told her to look in the mirror and tell herself she's beautiful, when Melida said: "I could say it, but do I really mean it? Probably not."

The Bangladeshi-American influencer then came out and hugged her.

Melida was last seen in Montibello driving a 2017 Toyota RAV4.
