A dog with more style than most humans has been given a new wardrobe during lockdown – and it takes up a whole room.

Rolo, five, is a dachshund from near Glasgow who owns over 200 bow ties, leather jackets, sunglasses and jumpers.

The fashionable pooch has more clothes than his owner, Karen Bryce, and more than 16.1k Instagram followers, @king_rolo_b.

During the coronavirus lockdown, Rolo’s closet was moved from a downstairs cupboard into an enormous walk-in wardrobe.

He’s such an icon!

Karen, 40, told the Daily Record : “Rolo has always worn clothes as he has a skin condition which is common for dachshunds.

“We started an Instagram account and he now gets comments from all over the world.

“He gets support from local businesses and even gets sent things from people in Chicago and Florida.

“He has so much stuff it’s now a full room of the house, it started as a small wardrobe downstairs.

“Rolo’s Grandad helped build it during lockdown.”

The pup has different clothes for different events – naturally.

He also has numerous costumes including a Star Wars outfit.

Karen continued: “He has more clothes than me!

“During lockdown lots of people said the clothes put a smile on their face.”

The Scottish sausage dog has even been spotted in the streets by his fans like a true celeb.

“It’s really starting to take off,” said Karen. “It’s nice to meet other people with similar interests.

We’ve made friends from Chicago and Florida, they send over things from America and we send them stuff from Scotland.”
