Aldi shoppers were furious to discover that a fellow customer was committing an act in-store which they called “unbelievable”.
It’s perfectly normal to open a carton of eggs before buying to ensure none are broken...
But, one mum spotted a shopper going a step further – and reported it to a manager.
Posting in a Facebook mum’s group, the woman said that she was waiting for a lady to move away from the eggs so she could grab a carton.
While waiting, she spotted the heinous act, which is believed to have happened in Australia.

The mum said: “I noticed her swapping eggs from one box to another but I wasn't sure what she was doing until she put the cage free box back.
“She swapped caged ones with cage free.”
Free range eggs usually cost more than caged eggs.
They’re also considered a more ethical option by many.
By swapping the eggs out, the woman would pay the lower caged price for the free range contents.
The mum who spotted the deceptive act reported the woman to staff, but she had already left the store.
She added: “It’s not fair to the person who is going pay for them not knowing what’s inside.”
Fellow Aldi fans were equally upset by the behaviour.
One person said: “That’s so bad and frustrating that people would do that.
“I always try to buy free range eggs, which aren’t cheap, so I wouldn’t be happy!”
“It would never occur to me that someone could do this,” claimed another.
A third wrote: “Unbelievable.
“I’ve heard everything now.
“The things people do!”
