A bride has been slammed after throwing a “racially segregated” wedding – but she insists she’s not racist.
§An infuriated invitee took a photo of a Facebook update about the big day and shared it on Reddit.
The post in the sub-Reddit r/insanepeoplefacebook, racked up 2,200 likes and nearly 200 furious comments.
The Facebook post said: “PSA: When you arrive today, please bring your invitation and wristbands and ID.
“Parking will be across the street from the venue.”
So far, so good, right?

Well, the bride continued: “As noted on the invitations, gusts will be segregated by race when it’s time to eat.
“We will have two tables of blacks, one of Asians, nine whites and two Hispanics.
“You will be given your table number and seat number upon entry, you are not allowed to move to other tables other than what you are assigned.”
Finally, she said: “Tables will be separate, but equal.”
After a number of comments the bride added a note, which said: “No, everyone, remember we’re not racist, we’re just seating friends and family with those they feel most comfortable.”
Reddit users were unhappy with the bride’s reasoning.
One person said: “Comfortable for who?
“That would make me really uncomfortable, like one of the tables is going to be targeted or some s***. I would be out of there fast.”
Another “I feel like if you have to specify you're not a racist... that you're definitely a racist.
Some thought the bride had overlooked mixed race people in her policy.
A fourth person added: “Partner is white and Hispanic.
"Does he just have to sit on the floor to eat?”
Another joked: “So, nine tables of white people and five empty tables?”
Many commented that the post must be satire or fake.
A commenter pointed out: “I find it hard to believe that someone like this has friends of other races who actually want to attend their event.”
