The chips and gravy debate is a common argument, with many people (especially those from up North) believing it's a staple, while others aren't so sure.
And a new chips and gravy controversy kicked off this week as a photo was shared on food Facebook group Rate My Plate.
A social media user, known as Stuart R, shared a snap of his meal on the notoriously savage platform.
His dish was a plate of chips and gravy, alongside some buttered bread ready to make a butty with.
However, many food fans thought he was doing his dish "all wrong".

One Facebook user moaned: "You don't need an entire swimming pool full of gravy, that's just going to make your chips all soggy and they'll turn to mush."
While another quipped: "Love a bit of engine oil on my chips."
A third chimed in: "The chips are too skinny and there is too much gravy on the plate - those chips are swimming in the stuff."
While a fourth added: "Man, this is all wrong. You're supposed to melt mozzarella cheese on the chips and then dip them in gravy. But only under intoxication."
Others even called the dish "shocking" and "depressing", as another added: "Those chips look like they’d need CPR before heading for the bread."
Stuart R will be pleased to know that there were some fans of his dinner though.
One told him: "Perfect meal for when your hungry but just can't be ar*ed. Well done you."
While another added: "I would smash this right now, dipping the sandwich in the excess gravy you are trying to drown those chips in."
A third wrote: "Love the way you position your chips in the bread, man after my own heart!"
