A heartbroken woman who claims her ex-boyfriend cheated on her twice shared a video of her revenge – but viewers were left divided.

TikTok user @destinesia_xoxo said she gave her long-distance boyfriend a "second chance" after the first time he cheated, but he messed-up again.

Utterly devastated, she decided to get her own back on him by gathering up his things and giving them back to him – with an added surprise.

In the clip, Destiny sits in the car and sprays hairspray on several items of clothing, which she says belong to her ex-boyfriend, including a sports jacket and some T-shirts.

She dumped glitter inside the box

She then folds them neatly in a box and upends a whole envelope of glitter all over his stuff – almost certainly guaranteeing that he will never wash it all out.

In a later video, she explained that she used to send him love letters but bits of glitter in them and that this was her idea of a "smack in the face".

Impressed by the revenge video – which has been "liked" more than 2.5 million times – many viewers said they wished they were there to see her boyfriend's reaction.

One woman quipped: "The note you should add – 'Roses are red, violets are blue, glitter's a c*** just like you.'"

A second fan said: "I did that to my ex too, a great way to get closure."

But some people said that her revenge was immature or even "toxic" and said it was better to just move on without any more drama or heartache.

"Ah yes destroy his stuff how cool of you if he keys your car it’s his fault," fumed one person.

A second viewer said: "This is toxic too but y’all not ready for that conversation."

"Why stoop to the level though?" asked a third.

And another commented: "Why do people have to one-up each other in a break-up? Be the better person and move on."
