McDonald’s is launching Triple Cheeseburgers in stores today.

The fast food giant has added the giant burger to its Saver Menu – and customers can pick it up for £2.19.

This tasty-looking menu item consists of 100% British and Irish beef patties, onions, pickles, mustard and cheese encased in a soft toasted bun.

On Twitter, customers have shared their excitement over the new launch.

One commenter joked: “Well there goes my diet!” and another said: “Yes please!”

A third added: “Triple Cheeseburger coming to the McDonald’s menu? All my wants and dreams have come true. FINALLY.”

McDonald's adds Triple Cheeseburger to its Saver Menu in all UK restaurants today

McDonald's fans in Yorkshire were among the first to sample the Triple Cheeseburger back in February.

It was trialled in just 60 restaurants across the UK earlier this year.

Fans immediately took to social media to declare their love for the new menu option.

So it's no surprise that the burger has been hyped up so much online.

The jammy breakfast item is a sweet alternative to Egg McMuffins

This isn’t the only new menu item you can pick up at McDonald’s today.

Toasted breakfast muffins with jam, which have been sold in Ireland for several years, can be purchased by Brit customers for 99p.

The breakfast item is being joined by two old favourites too.

Maccy D’s announced two of its best-loved McFlurry flavours this week – Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cadbury Caramel.

These will be available in mini and regular sizes, which cost 99p and £1.39 respectively.
