A woman felt like she blended into the background when she worked in a 9-5 corporate job.
Lina, AKA Cigno, didn’t get to celebrate her individuality as she plugged away at an office in Germany.
So in order to pursue her dreams, she jetted off to San Francisco to pursue life as a tattoo model.
She’s since covered her body in ink – and even had some body modifications too.
The alternative star, who describes herself as an “androgynous alien”, told Truly : “I’m a tattoo model and artist in the Bay Area.
“I have probably 60% of my body covered and I want to be covered from head to toe.”
She continued: “It’s a rather androgynous, alien cyborg, futuristic look that’s in the making now.
“I added my subdermal horns to my collection, as well as an implant in my chest.
“Those are silicone implants that can be inserted under the skin or any part of the body. It’s quite a painful procedure.
“I had a boob job done and a nose job.
“The chin tattoo is probably my favourite tattoo. I have my lip blacked out and my breasts and butt are completely tattooed.”
Lina is glad she’s been able to quit the corporate world for a more exciting lifestyle.
She’s often booked for photoshoots and has trained to be a tattoo artist so she can ink others.
That’s not all either – as the Instagrammer is much more confident with her appearance nowadays.
She said: “I used to be very unhappy with myself and the way I looked when I was younger.
“I didn’t like how I looked in the mirror and needed to change in order to feel better about myself.”
Even though Lina has bags of confidence and a legion of 91,500 followers on social media, some aren’t keen on her look.
She admitted: “My parents weren’t big fans of their daughter getting tattoos. But I think I’m still myself. Just a better version of it…
“There are always going to be haters who say that I’ve disfigured myself or I have mental issues.
“But it doesn’t really touch me at all.
“For the future I hope I will keep being successful with my modelling.”
