Mrs Hinch shared a clever hack for keeping shoes smelling fresh.

The cleaning influencer, whose real name is Sophie Hinchcliffe, gave her 3.8 million followers a peek inside her drawers.

She put all her trainers and boots away tidily, before adding tumble dryer sheets into them.

Sophie explained: “I pop a tumble sheet into my shoes to keep them smelling nice.”

The affordable products work to absorb excess moisture, which can help to banish gross odour too.

There are plenty of different scents you can choose too.

Mrs Hinch is a big fan of Lenor’s Spring Awakening.

The dryer sheets smell floral with hints of natural patchouli and white cedar.

According to Lenor, the fragrance is “uplifting” and can “leave you feeling invigorated and totally refreshed”.

The products retail at around £2 for a pack of 34.

You can pick them up from Tesco, The Range an Wilko outlets, as well as other homeware stores too.

If floral fragrances aren’t your thing, don’t fret!

There are plenty of other options on the market too.

Many supermarkets have their own-brand dryer sheets that typically come in a “fresh linen” scent.

There are also fruity and woody options available online.
