What’s the best hangover cure you’ve ever heard of? Drinking Bloody Marys? Fry-up? A takeaway?
Well for one lady, that last one ended up being much saucier than the Chinese food she’d ordered.
The lucky lass added a note to the bottom of her order asking for “a wee happy note to cheer (her) up”.
And the delivery driver certainly delivered.
Food arrived with an anonymous cheeky note saying “give me a text, I’ll cheer you up” alongside the mystery guy’s number.
Saving the number as “China Town Guy” on her phone, the woman responded to the chat.
She wrote: “So how do you plan on cheering a rough gal up?”, to which the guy naughtily replied “Depends how cheery you wanna be”.
The hungover lass then explained “Just need to get rid of this two day hang I have. Hopefully the food sorts me out”.
And her mystery man responded "Two day hangover, you must’ve been steaming. Hope the food’s good”.
Determined to find out if the delivery man wooed all customers, the woman finally replied “You don’t even wanna know. So do you always send your number out with the orders? Or you doing your act of kindness and spreading cheer?”.
We can’t be sure what happened next between the two of them, but using a takeaway to get a guy’s number is a new one on us.
This isn't the only time takeaway workers have gone the extra mile.
Previously, a curry house shared a hilarious Just Eat reques t of man asking them to sneak a kebab past his wife.
And in other news, Pizza Express were praised for delighting a couple with an act of kindness.
