In an impressive series of TikTok clips by her daughter @shawnalucyy, the mum is filmed getting her hands dirty as she scouts an area of woodland for hidden treasures.
She picks up holly, fir, and other bright and seasonal tree branches.
The mum then spots a beautiful fallen silver birch tree and gets to work sawing it down into pieces to take home and transform into a work of beauty.
In a follow-up video, she opens the front door of her home and shows off what she has made in a guided tour of the Christmas decorations.
Pride of place on the door is a festive wreath made from woven sections of fir and a large red ribbon.
Inside, a minimalist and yet magical Christmas tree wall decoration has been put together with pieces of silver birch strung up with twine.
There are also beautiful displays of fir neatly assembled on a piano and other pieces of furniture with fairy lights entwined in the mix to give a truly homely feel.
Experiencing real delight at the transformation, many viewers said the end result was better than expensive or tacky stuffy from shops and the video was "liked" more than 56,000 times.
One fan gushed: "Um my jaw hit the ground she needs to come and decorate my house like this."
"It came out so good and probably smells good too, win-win!" enthused another viewer.
Full of praise, another person commented: "These are all so much better than store-bought decorations."
"She definitely knows what she is doing!" said someone else.
