Katie Price has taken to social media to give an important update on how her emergency surgery went.
The mum-of-five explained that surgeons were met with complications while in theatre as they battled for six hours to fix her shattered feet and ankles.
Despite the surgery, Katie now has a long road ahead of her before she will be able to walk once more.
Taking to Instagram, Katie said: "Wanted to update everyone who has been sending all the beautiful messages to me.
"So I’ve had my six-hour op. Unfortunately more procedures was needed when they entered my feet than thought , but I’m lucky I have the chance to one day get on my feet again.
"Chelsea Westminster hospital nurses doctors have been amazing and the surgeons totally have my up most RESPECT and absolutely FANTASTIC very professional and have been very honest and straight with me to make me actually sink in my head the seriousness of my injuries.
"MASSIVE THANKYOU and massive Thankyou to @carljwoods for constantly fitting me around his work and being by my side , loving knowing I’ve found the man that has surprisingly ticked every box I could only dream of a man to be like and knowing I’m spending the rest of my life with him."
Posting to his own Instagram, Carl, who briefly found fame on Love Island wrote: "*UPDATE* After a long ass day in surgery @katieprice has done it!
"She is now on the road to recovery! Well Done for being so brave and upbeat about the whole process! Truly Amazing X."
Alongside the comment, Carl shared a snap of himself at Katie's bedside.
Still rocking make-up and fake nails, Katie posed for the camera with her two legs in casts and bandages.
Previous reports have claimed that Katie will not be able to work for three to six months while her broken limbs heal.
Katie sustained the injury after jumping off a wall during a family day out to a theme park in Turkey.
At the time, she was joined by her children Junior and Princess Andre as well as her new boyfriend Carl Woods.
Katie was rushed to hospital in Turkey where medics hurried to patch her up.
Upon returning to the UK Katie has been seen with both feet and legs in casts and has been getting about London in a wheelchair.
