Legendary rockstar Liam Gallagher has left fans in a state of delirium as he teased a potential Oasis reunion, less than an hour after entering the New Year.
The Manchester-born star offered an olive branch to brother Noel on social media as he admitted he "loves him long time".
Brothers Liam, 48, and Noel, 53, have been at loggerheads since the group parted ways in 2009 after Noel left the group, stating he couldn't work with "Liam a day longer".
Since their dramatic split, the pair have not seen eye-to-eye, with Liam recently saying: "That Noel he's a bit po-faced. It's not complicated in my neck of the woods."
However, their long-standing feud may finally be put to one side with thousands hoping the brothers will save 2021.
Taking to Twitter, Liam penned: "HNY [Happy New Year] Noel love you long time 2021 is our year c'mon you know LG x."
The post which has since been liked over 21,300 times was instantly flooded with fans going wild as they await the much-speculated reunion.
"You're going to make me cry, hopefully, this year you are," exclaimed one fan.
While a second added: "Brothers need brothers!"
A third doting supporter tweeted: "I really hope this year Liam that is the year for you and Noel to make a start in making up."
"I hope you two become brothers again-2021 would be the perfect year for it all to come together @NoelGallagher," said a fourth.
It comes just weeks after Liam revealed that Noel had turned down £100million to reunite with their bandmates.
While appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, Liam revealed: "When someone offers you 100 million pounds to do a few gigs and that man, you're going to go, 'Alright then yeah…'
"There was a lot of money knocking about."
He added: "It was 100 million pounds to do a tour and that and I'm thinking, 'I'm not a d***head, know what I mean? I'll have a bit of that.'
"He's not into it, is he? He's after a knighthood isn't he?"
