Telly favourite Carol Vorderman has left fans hot under the collar after sharing sweaty snaps from a recent workout session.

The age-defying former Countdown host showed her followers how she keeps herself in shape by sharing a series of snaps from her latest visit to the gym.

Carol, 59, donned a black t-shirt and a pair of black and grey leggings for her workout, which showed off her famously perky bum.

The Radio Wales presenter showed off her impressive moves by doing squats while holding a dumbbell in each hand.

She left her trademark locks hanging loose as she worked up a sweat with a personal trainer.

The former I'm A Celebrity contestant tweeted alongside three snaps from her workout: "Oohhh...owwww.....ouch... #RipperSession... and this was the cool down. Sweaty one today in thee weighted vest with @rippercbh #SquatSquat"

Carol's curves have garnered hundreds of fans over the years, but she previously told Lorraine Kelly she doesn't fixate on her weight or figure.

Speaking during Lorraine's Body Confidence series, she said: "I haven’t weighed myself since 1999. I don’t actually know how much I weigh and I don't care because I go on my dress size, thank god for Lycra!

"I'm probably about a size 8 to 9 at the moment. I’ve always had a small waist, I think I’m about 25 inches around my waist.

"If I put on a bit of weight, I know I have, and I go up to a size 11. A larger size 10, that’s kind of my boundary for where I’m happy."

Carol credits her regular walks in the Welsh countryside with helping her stay in shape, revealing she does 12-20 miles twice a week.

She added: "In terms of squats, or the equivalent of squats, I probably do over 20,000 a year... that's a lot."

Carol recently made a candid confession on-air as she told listeners of BBC Radio Wales she still goes by her married name King.

The mathematician tied the knot with her second husband Patrick King in 1990.

The former couple, who split after a decade, share two children; Katie, 29, and Cameron, 23.
