Christine McGuinness has thrown her support behind her mum in a loving tribute after revealing her devastating breast cancer diagnosis.
Paddy McGuinness' devastated wife took to Instagram earlier this month to share the earth-shattering news of her mum’s illness.
The brave Real Housewives of Cheshire star is turning her despair into an opportunity to raise awareness.
She has since announced her support for breast cancer charity the Pink Ribbon Foundation, devoting a social media post to the special cause.
Christine posed in a stylish black charity T-shirt, designed by Texan artist David Cantu in collaboration with the Foundation, and a caramel mini-skirt.
She teamed the look with a pair of knee high black boots and a red lip as she advertised the tops.
In an effort to lift others’ moods, Christine beamed at the camera, and captioned the series of snaps "swipe for smiles".
The gorgeous mum-of-three then paid tribute to her mum, writing: "Supporting breast cancer for my mum, aunties and all those affected sending love and strength."
Sharing the heartbreaking news with her fans, Christine posted a snap of her mum standing in front of the famous Baltic Triangle angel wings mural.
The TV star penned: "This is possibly the most upsetting post I will ever write and typing away now it’s really hitting home.
"My mum, my best friend, my rock was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
"It’s hit me hard, we are very close. She is a huge part of our family.
"We spend almost every weekend together with my children, their bond is magical.
"But, my mum is also the strongest woman I know and is determined to fight it. She’s a proper 'Scouse Ma'.
Christine continued: "I have always supported breast cancer charities as four of my aunties have also had breast cancer and my mum has asked me to continue helping raise money and awareness (the reason I’m sharing this) she has the biggest heart and always just wants to help others.
"You will smash it mum."
Christine recently quit Real Housewives of Cheshire after two years on the show, to spend more time with her family.
