Dog the Bounty Hunter has been accused of proposing to fiancee Moon Angell in order to 'spite' his 12 children.
It's believed there has been a rift between the star and his family since he began dating Moon, who is the ex-girlfriend of one of his sons.
Moon was also the maid of honour at Dog's wedding to his late wife Beth, who passed away after a battle with cancer last year.
Duane who goes by the name of Dog was seen proposing to Moon Angel in a teaser clip for an upcoming episode of The Dr Oz Show.
The 66-year-old reality star has allegedly left his children furious with his decision to ask for Moon's hand in marriage on the show.
A source close to Duane has said his relationship with his late wife's best friend is "crazy".
Speaking to The Sun, the source said: "Dog's family thinks the whole Dr Oz proposal is crazy. None of them are fans of Moon - and none of them are happy about the relationship.
"There's been a lot said both publicly and privately by family members about the whole thing."
Last month, Dog's daughter, Lyssa hit out over his new relationship.
The 32-year-old businesswoman tweeted: "You're a disgusting woman.
"Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a 'friend' to, is the lowest scum on the planet.
"If someone who met your family by dating your brother tried to date your father after your step-mom died, what would you do?"
Lyssa's soon-to-be step-mum hit back: "We're talking about ONE person destroying more than one person here. NOBODY is behaving like she is. A child who never even loved Beth.
"You people don’t want the truth and keep rewarding bad behaviour. Something, even family, must walk away from family."
In the proposal clip, Dog is seen getting emotional as he looks at his girlfriend and says: "Moon Angell, will you marry me?"
The clip ends with Moon looking shocked, without her answer being heard.
