Jennifer Aniston is one of Hollywood's top earning celebs but just how did she come to earn her reported £232 million fortune?

The 51-year-old A-lister is said to be worth $300 million thanks to her acting and producing credits she has racked up since Friends came to an end back in 2004.

Jennifer became a household name when she landed the role of Rachel Green in Friends alongside Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry.

The show ran from 1994 for a total of ten series and during the 2003 and 2004 seasons of the sitcom, Jennifer and her female co-stars each earned £756,616 per episode – making them the highest-paid TV actresses of all time.

Friends continues to generate north of £776,285,646 per year in syndication royalties and streaming deals and it has been reported that each cast member in some years can earn between £7million and £15 million in royalties alone.

Jennifer was previously married to fellow actor Brad Pitt

Before that she worked with Plan B Entertainment with her ex-husband Brad and their partner Brad Grey in 2001, but she parted ways after the couple's split in 2005.

Over the years she has earned a fortune endorsing brands such as Smartwater, Emirates, Eyelove and skincare brand Aveeno.

In 2006, shortly after her divorce from Brad Pitt, she spent £10.4 million on a home in Beverly Hills which she proceeded to remodel from the ground up, at a cost of several million dollars but she sold this house in 2011 for just over £27 million.
