The 43-year-old rapper is said to have resided at his $14million (£11million) Wyoming ranch over the past year, while the reality TV star, 39, based her in Los Angeles, visiting only once a month with their four children North, seven, Saint, four, Chicago, two, and Psalm, one.
The rapper launched a controversial presidential bid earlier this month – and, in a series of now-deleted tweets took aim at his spouse along with mother-in-law Kris Jenner.
A source told Us Weekly: "Kanye has been in Wyoming for the last year. Kim goes about once every five weeks and brings the kids
"They haven't been spending time together because he moved his life completely to Wyoming and that's not where their life is, their family is, their kids are in school or the larger family is.
Another report added that Kanye lives 'full time' in Wyoming as it is 'best for his creativity' according PageSix.

It has been reported Kim has urged Kanye to pull the plug on his White House dreams following his chaotic rally and rambling speech.
Their six-year marriage has come under the microscope in recent weeks, and according to an insider the mum-of-four "doesn't know what to do".
"Kim feels trapped," a source added to PEOPLE.
"She loves Kanye and she thinks of him as the love of her life. But she doesn't know what to do."
Following his Twitter outburst, Kanye has since apologised to his wife Kim, telling her he was sorry for "going public with something that was a private matter".
