Phillip Schofield is planning an amicable divorce from wife Stephanie Lowe, it has been claimed.
The Dancing On Ice presenter is allegedly set to split his £9million fortune with his wife of 27 years, according to a friend.
The news comes seven months after Phillip, 58, came out as gay live on This Morning - a decision which BBC worker Stephanie stood by and supported.
Since the presenter's brave decision, he has stated that he is in no rush to find love and his main priority is his family, including daughters Molly and Ruby.
Speaking to The Sun, an insider claimed: "Phillip and Steph have had a lot of hard, painful conversations over the past ten months but remain as tight and devoted to one another as ever.
"She has been so supportive, and he won't skip off into the sunset now and abandon her. At the same time, he has no desire to become embroiled in a bitter and costly divorce battle."
The mole went on to claim: "Phillip is in no hurry to meet someone new, but obviously the D-word [divorce] has now been mooted, albeit in very loose and casual terms.
"His earning power is at an all-time high, and Steph is entitled to half."
Phillip is allegedly "not disputing" that Steph is entitled to half of his estate and is reportedly simply asking for loyalty and discretion.
The publication added that neither Phillip nor Steph have signed any non-disclosure agreements which would prevent them from discussing their relationship.
Meanwhile, Phillip is set to bare his soul in a tell-all autobiography which consists of notes that he has written since the age of 14.
Since making the decision to announce his sexuality, the pair have been residing at their shared Oxfordshire home with their daughters.
Recently, it was revealed that Phillip was ready to convert the family garage into his own bachelor pad.
Reports said that the decision would be a "great investment" while adding value onto the home.
Daily Star Online has approached a representative for Phillip for comment.
