Selling Sunset star Amanza Smith has hit back at claims she is the new Carole Baskin because her ex-husband has been missing for a year.
Fans have accused the estate agent of being involved in the disappearance of former NFL player Ralph Brown or in a cover-up.
Similar conspiracy theories were fired at animal rights campaigner Baskin, who denied allegations on hit Netflix show Tiger King she murdered her ex-husband Don Lewis.
Amanza has filed a missing person report and hired a private detective to track down Ralph after he stopped answering calls and emails.
His last address was a PO box and his family do not know where he is.
Amanza, 43, said: “I think it is ridiculous. There’s a thing now with my husband, well what about the missing person’s report?
“It is like the whole Carole Baskin type thing – where is Ralph Brown?”
The mum believes Ralph “will be back” and that reuniting with him will be her biggest challenge.
They divorced eight years ago and split physical and legal custody of 10-year-old daughter Noah and son Braker, eight.
Amanza wants the Los Angeles courts to grant her full custody.
She said: “I can tell you 100% that if he came back, I would do everything in my power to make sure that I have full custody of them.
“If he proves himself and he’s able to see them 50% of the time, fine but I will always make sure that I have full custody because I don’t want to run the risk that he could ever do that again.”
The mum is the first appeared on the popular US show in season two and swiftly became a main part of the cast in the latest series.
Born on 11 December 1976, the mum-of-two is 43 years the oldest estate agent at The Oppenheim Group.
