Rafinha, who is the younger brother of Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara, has made 90 appearances for Barca since emerging from the club’s famous La Masia youth academy in 2011.
He has been used sparingly by the Catalans in recent years, nonetheless, and spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Celta Vigo.
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, the Brazilian is one of several players Barca are looking to offload in the summer transfer window.
With just under a year remaining on his contract, the Spanish club are hoping to cash in on him while they still can, as under the Bosman ruling he will be eligible to negotiate a free move abroad at the turn of the year.
It is believed Rafinha has a desire to play in the Premier League next season; with Arsenal, West Ham and Everton reportedly interested.
Lazio are also said to be eying up a move for the 27-year-old, who was an important member of the Barca side that clinched a famous La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League treble in 2015.
However, Barca are not prepared to sell him for anything less than the £14million release clause in his contract.
The Nou Camp outfit have made it clear they are not willing to negotiate a lower fee this summer.
Rafinha is understood to be calm about his transfer situation, although he does want to resolve it as soon as possible.
The midfielder is one of many stars who could be on their way out of Barca - including club legend Lionel Messi.

Messi provided the biggest bombshell of the summer transfer window by handing in a transfer request last week, informing Barca officials of his desire to leave via burofax.
Reports suggest Manchester City, who are coached by Messi’s former manager Pep Guardiola, are leading the race to sign him.
