Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is reportedly willing to wave goodbye to 11 stars as early this month.

Arteta already admitted that Arsenal’s priority for the January transfer window was to cut down on his “large” squad.

William Saliba has already departed as he joined Nice on loan for the rest of the season, with Sead Kolasinac having the same agreement with Schalke.

And The Independent report that Kolasinac is one of 11 stars that Arteta is willing to lose for good before the end of the summer.

It’s claimed that the boss wants at least eight stars out of the door, viewing over ten as ‘dispensable’.

Kolasinac isn’t the only defender with Sokratis, Shkodran Mustafi, Callum Chambers and Konstantinos Mavropanos also on the list.

Mesut Ozil appears destined to leave Arsenal when his contract ends in the summer, and he is another that Arteta is not fussed about keeping.

Youngsters Folarin Balogun, Joe Willock and Reiss Nelson are among the other stars that could depart.

Lucas Torreira may exit permanently having spent the first half of the season on loan at Atletico Madrid.

And the next two transfer windows could also see the end of Mohamed Elneny’s Arsenal career.

Arteta could be busy, and recently said: "We have a large squad and we knew that. A lot of things that should have happened in the summer, we cannot accomplish for different reasons.
