The United States international scored a fine opening goal but appeared to pull his hamstring while bursting towards the opposition box in the second half.
The Gunners went on to win the FA Cup for a record 14th time thanks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s double, but it was the celebrations after the aforementioned injury that have been criticised.
The team at ArsenalFanTV took part in their usual live stream for the game, and host Robbie Lyle was forced to take a stand against the reaction after the 21-year-old was forced off.
He was heard saying: "I never celebrate an injury."
AFTV were founded in 2012 on YouTube and have brought in 826m views while gaining 1.15m subscribers.
Former BBC reggae radio host Robbie is the man in charge, and notable contributors include Ty, DT and Troopz.
Claude Callegari was another regular guest, but he was removed from the channel for a remark he made about Tottenham forward Heung-Min Son.
One Twitter user said in response: "Tbf I genuinely dislike arsenal and I hate chelsea, but this is outrageous?"
A second added: "As long as you are a human being, when a player gets hurt or injured, put rivalries aside."
A third said: "They were entertaining for a while but got carried away with the hype. Now just clowns shouting over each other trying to get the most clout."
