Jorginho, 28, was expected to head back to Italy this summer and reunite with former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri at Juve.
Sarri brought his favourite midfielder with him to Stamford Bridge in 2018, forking out £50million to prise him away from Naples.
However, Jorginho will no longer be able to link up with the 61-year-old in Turin following his dismissal as Old Lady manager last month.
His agent has confirmed that Juve were interested in a deal, nevertheless, yet Chelsea rejected their swap offer including Pjanic.
“Juventus had offered a swap deal including Miralem Pjanic, but the English side didn’t take it into consideration,” Joao Santos told Tuttomercatoweb.
“[Juve sporting director Fabio] Paratici never called me. Would he have moved to Juventus with Sarri? I think so.”
Juve still managed to offload Pjanic, with the midfielder instead used as bait to sign Arthur from Barcelona.
Arthur joined the Italian champions in a deal worth £66million, while Pjanic’s switch to Barca was reportedly worth £55million.
As for Jorginho, reports linking him with a move away from Chelsea have gone quiet since Sarri was sacked by Juve.
Yet Santos insists his client could still depart the club this summer if Frank Lampard deems him surplus to requirements.
The agent added: “He has a three-year deal with Chelsea. The market is long, it will last until October 5. If Chelsea were to think that he is no longer part of the project, I would find an alternative option.
“Last year, he played 40 games for Chelsea and is an important member of the national team.
