Plucky Chorley FC have asked Adele to perform a duet of hit Someone Like You after it spurred them onto FA Cup success.

The non-league side belted out the track in the dressing room after their shock win over Wayne Rooney’s Derby County earlier this month.

Chorley clash with Premier League side Wolves in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday night. Your Daily Star is sponsoring the team.

They have now asked the crooner to team up for a charity duet to raise cash for dementia charity Sporting Memories.

The Lancs club, who play in the sixth tier, wrote on Twitter: “How about a duet to raise money for charities we can each nominate? What do you think @Adele, up for it?”

And the team’s boss Jamie Vermiglio pledged to sing the Adele song - in a Donald Duck voice.

He vowed: “If we beat Wolves I will sing the full Adele song in Donald Duck.

“I will commit to it now.”

The last time the team played top flight opposition was in 1900 when they lost 6-0 to Notts County.
