Gareth Southgate is believed to be furious after three more England stars flouted coronavirus rules.

Just last week, Southgate gave an impassioned plea for England players to stop embarrassing themselves after a summer of off-field incidents brought unwanted headlines to the team.

But now Ben Chilwell, Tammy Abraham and Jadon Sancho have all been filmed becoming the latest bunch of Covidiots by breaching government guidance.

The trio all attended a packed birthday party ahead of Monday's England squad meet-up.

The Three Lions are gathering ahead of fixtures against Wales, Belgium and Iceland over the next 10 days.

Abraham and Chilwell were pictured together at a party in London

In a video obtained by The Sun, the footballers are seen attending a gathering of around 20 friends and family.

The do, which took place on Saturday night, was for Chelsea star Abraham's 23rd birthday and is said to have taken place at his mansion.

Current government law says that fines of up to £10,000 can be dished out if you do not follow the 'rule of six'.

The party took place hours after Abraham and Chilwell had played for Chelsea in their 4-0 win over Crystal Palace.

Sancho was also in attendance at Abraham's party

Sancho was not part of the Borussia Dortmund squad that beat Freiburg on Saturday - but was said to be missing due to illness.

He was filmed dancing at the party with a face mask around his chin, but not covering his mouth and nose.

His antics will surely anger Dortmund bosses, who have fought so hard to keep him at the club this summer, as well as Southgate.

The footage has been seen by the FA and it is thought that there will be no change to the England team at this time.

England manager Southgate will be furious that his players have again flouted rules

It is believed that Abraham was unaware of the surprise party, with friends intending for the gathering to be a nice gesture for his birthday.

Abraham said: “I arrived home to find a small surprise gathering.

“Though I was totally unaware this was planned, I would like to wholeheartedly apologise for the naivety shown for the organisation and attending of this gathering.

“All I can do now is learn from it, apologise to everyone and ensure it never happens again.”

Southgate will be frustrated after the latest spate of ill-discipline.

During the last international break, Phil Foden and Mason Greenwood invited a pair of Icelandic women into their hotel room, breaching strict protocol, and making unwanted headlines.

It followed a summer of drama where Harry Maguire was involved in an alleged clash with police in Greece, for which he is awaiting a retrial.

England return to on-field action against Wales on Thursday night, in a behind-closed-doors clash at Wembley Stadium.
