Everton have agreed a fee in the region of £20m with Watford for French midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure, as moves for James Rodriguez and Allan continue to develop.
Daily Star Sport understands add-ons could take the total closer to £25m, while personal terms are still to be agreed.
Doucoure was a key man for Watford last season, but could not prevent them from being relegated to the Championship.
The news comes as Everton close in on deals for Brazil midfielder Allan and Colombian playmaker James Rodriguez.
Allan was pictured arriving at Liverpool airport yesterday ahead of his medical after the Toffees agreed a £25m deal with Napoli over the weekend.
While Rodriguez was also due in the UK as Everton closed in on an agreement with Real Madrid for the Colombian ace.
He’ll have until Thursday to complete a medical, before he’s expected back at Real Madrid training if a deal breaks down.
Allan, 29, looks set to become the first major summer signing for Carlo Ancelotti having played under the Italian at Napoli.
Ancelotti wanted to bolster his midfield options this summer and made Allan his No. 1 target while also remaining an admirer of Rodriguez.
But it also looks like Rodriguez will also link up with his former Real Madrid manager.
The Colombia ace would be seen as a big coup for the Toffees after his six-year stint at the La Liga giants.
