La Liga president Javier Tebas is eager to see Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp try his hand in Spain, as well as see Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho return.

Guardiola and Mourinho previously managed in Spain, in charge of Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.

Klopp has never managed in Spain though has won league titles in England and Germany.

And Tebas wants “the best” in La Liga, saying: "We always want the best. "I want [Lionel] Messi in La Liga. Just as I want Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, Cristiano [Ronaldo]... all of those would help us grow."

Klopp had previously spoke about how La Liga is the best league in the world, saying back in 2016: "It's the best football country I would say, a combination of good managers, scouting, good education of players.

"Lots of young players from South America like to go to Spain because they can settle in.

“There are a lot of reasons, but at this moment La Liga is the highest level and it is the job of everybody else to reach this level and pass them.”
