Liverpool fans were left raging during their side's 2-0 win over Midtjylland on Tuesday night after a repetitive Seagull noise kept coming through on audio.

The annoying cry was clearly a part of BT Sport's fake crowd noise loop for the Champions League fixture.

Unfortunately for Reds viewers, the seagull could be heard every few seconds as it repeated on an endless cycle.

One Liverpool fan watching posted: "Anyone else hear the seagull every 10-15 secs on the commentary loop on the #LFC game?? It’s f****** p****** me off."

Another replied: "Yes!! I thought I was hearing things. Doing my head in."

Liverpool won the fixture against Midtjylland.

And it seems as though it wasn't just BT Sport customers who were feeling the seagull strain.

"Rte's crowd noise taken from the beach? Sounds like seagulls," another viewer tweeted.

Luckily for those fans the annoying noise was offset by the result. Liverpool sealed all three points with two second half goals.

Fabinho goes down injured.

Diogo Jota continued his fine start to life at Liverpool by notching just before the hour mark with Mohamed Salah wrapping up the win with a last-minute penalty.

But there did come a blow for Jurgen Klopp in the form of another injury.

Fabinho, who has filled in at centre-back to replace Virgil van Dijk, was withdrawn on the half hour mark after picking up a hamstring problem
