Manchester United star Odion Ighalo is reportedly set to meet his new team-mates on Saturday as the Red Devils fly to Marbella for a training camp.
Ighalo signed for United on a six-month loan deal from Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua on transfer deadline day and arrived in the UK over the weekend.
But with the Premier League on its maiden winter break, the Nigerian ace is yet to meet his new team-mates.
He has been staying at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester while his fellow Red Devils have jetted around the world ahead of their resumption against Chelsea on February 17.
And Ighalo will have to wait a few more days to meet his team-mates yet, according to The Times.
It’s claimed that United will head to Marbella on Saturday for a week-long training camp in southern Spain.
And Ighalo is expected to join the United squad on the flight as he looks to regain match fitness with the forward having not played a competitive game since December 6.
He has reportedly been playing a number of practice matches while employing a personal fitness coach during the last two months.
And Ighalo can’t wait to get going at United after a last-minute move was sealed.
"It's a dream come true because since I was a kid I followed and dreamt of Manchester United," Ighalo told Sky Sports News upon arriving in the UK.
"But it is a reality now. I cannot say much more now until I get started. It's been crazy. Obviously, I am happy to be in Manchester first of all.
"This is a great opportunity for me and I am grateful to God, and to my agent, and the coach who has given me this opportunity to be here.
"I am happy to be here and to work out with the team and finish very well this season."
