Salah and Mane form two thirds of Klopp’s talented front three alongside Roberto Firmino that has successfully fired them to Champions League and Premier League glory.
The Egyptian joined Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from Roma with Mane having already joined a year earlier from Southampton.
And upon meeting Klopp, Salah was keen to find out his role in the team alongside Mane.
"He talked with me a lot and his future plan which made me very excited,” the 28-year-old told BeIn Sports.
“My first question for him was 'What about Sadio?' as we are playing in the same position, and he said that Mane will play at the left."
The pair’s displays have been so consistent during Klopp’s reign that they have often been linked with big-money moves across Europe - most notably Real Madrid.
But Match of the Day pundit Alan Shearer sees no reason why they’d now want to leave Anfield.
“Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are clearly on the wanted lists of Europe’s big spenders, but why would they want to leave Liverpool now?” Shearer said..

“Even if the likes of Real Madrid are lining up, I don’t see why they would want to go elsewhere. This is a club in Liverpool on the up, a huge club and they are well and truly back.
“You’ve just won the Premier League, won the Champions League last year... keep going and you’re on the cusp of greatness.
“Jurgen Klopp’s side could dominate for a few more years, so they will not be willing to let their superstars go and I don’t see any reason they would leave.
“For next season, I think Liverpool need only a small turnover of squad players to keep things fresh, keep the squad hungry.
“Not one of the first-choice starting XI were born when they last won the title 30 years ago so it’s not an ageing squad.
“I could see them bring one big hitter in, which will push those already there even further.”
