PSG star Neymar posted a video laughing at suggestions that he was involved in a party in Brazil dubbed 'Neymarpalooza’.

The former Barcelona star had denied he has anything to do with a five-day celebration, being held at his £6m rented mansion in Rio de Janeiro.

New Year’s Eve was set to be the highlight with between 150 to 500 people, including plenty of models, expected.

Though Neymar appeared to be nowhere near having posted a video of a dinner table that appeared to be for about 40 guests.

It was decked out with white flowers and an empty chair between each place setting amid the coronavirus pandemic.

And Neymar hit out at reports over his party, saying: “Marvellous decoration for this beautiful, low-key little dinner at home, with social distancing.

“And it’s not for 500 people, OK?”

In a caption he added: “Social distancing. Everyone tested.”

A host of models and influencers had taken to social media to share snaps of them arriving at the mansion.
