Aubameyang netted a brace as the Gunners came from behind to win the game 2-1 and, after a player-of-the-match performance, much of the discussion focused on his future at the club.
The striker is 31-years-old, has never won a league title or a major European trophy and is out of contract next summer, meaning he could leave for free in a year or for a cut-price fee this summer.
Arsenal missed out on a spot in the Champions League next year and look to be some way off challenging for the Premier League title, meaning if Aubameyang wants to have one last shot at silverware then he will need to leave.
However, it is clear he is loved at Arsenal and has a great relationship with manager Mikel Arteta and his team-mates.
After Arsenal's official Twitter account posted a picture of Aubameyang and Arteta celebrating the FA Cup win, the striker responded saying: "My manager !!!!!"
Replying to his captain, goalkeeper Martinez simply tweeted five contract emojis, three pen emojis and a padlock emoji, urging him to sign a new deal.

Immediately after the game, the pair gave an emotional interview to the BBC, with Martinez saying: "I can't really talk. I said to him [Aubameyang] before the game, you are going to win us the game."
With the goalkeeper overcome with emotion and unable to continue the interview, Aubameyang stepped in, saying: "Big respect for this man [Martinez]. We enjoyed today.
"We are so happy. As you can see, Emi [Martinez] is crying. That shows, that winning this game and this trophy makes us so happy. We deserved this win. He [Arteta] did a great job and we are so happy to have him on board."
However, when quizzed on his future, Aubameyang remained tight-lipped, adding: "Nothing [to say]—today, the trophy, that’s it!"
