Premier League clubs have until Friday to raid their EFL counterparts for new recruits before the domestic transfer deadline passes.
The window for international transfers slammed shut last Monday, but deals between English football’s top four leagues can still be completed up until October 16.
Top-flight sides cannot sign players from their own division, nevertheless, meaning a number of top Championship stars are attracting interest.
So which players are likely to be on the move this week? Daily Star Sport have picked out six transfers we expect to happen before the domestic window closes on Friday.
Said Benrahma to West Ham
After allowing Felipe Anderson to join Porto on loan this summer, however, it is the Hammers who probably need to sign him most. Reports suggest he could be available for £25million.
Troy Deeney to West Brom
Deeney was relegated to the Championship with Watford last season but the Baggies are reportedly interested in offering him an immediate route back to the Premier League.
Slaven Bilic is determined to bolster his attacking options and the veteran striker, who scored 10 top-flight goals last season, could prove a shrewd investment.
Joe Rodon to Tottenham
Daily Star Sport understands the Wales defender, 22, is on Spurs’ radar heading into the final five days of the domestic transfer window.
Gareth Bale looks like being key to his compatriot leaving Swansea and joining the north London club, who are expected to seal an £18million deal before the deadline passes.
Josh King to West Ham
Like Deeney, King was sent packing to the Championship last season when Bournemouth were relegated from the top flight.
West Ham have reportedly seen a £13million bid rejected for the 28-year-old striker, but are likely to come back in with another offer over the next few days.
Todd Cantwell to Leeds
Leeds have already spent close to £100million this summer in a bid to make their first season back in the Premier League a successful one, but the club are understood to still be targeting Cantwell.
The English midfielder, who produced a string of impressive displays in the Premier League last season, is reportedly valued at £20million by Norwich.

Karlan Grant to West Brom
Grant, who bagged 19 league goals for Huddersfield last season, is another attacking target for Bilic at the Hawthorns.
The Terriers are said to be demanding £20million for his services, but West Brom should be able to bring their asking price down heading into the last few days of the domestic window.
