Neymar is one of three PSG stars to have tested positive for Covid-19.

The Brazilian has been enjoying some down time in Ibiza since his side's Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich.

However, L'Equipe report he is one of the three PSG stars to test positive for the disease after returning home.

Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes are said to be the other individuals.

PSG tweeted: "Three players from @PSG_inside are confirmed positive by the Sars CoV2 test and are subject to the appropriate health protocol.

"All players and staff will continue to perform tests over the next few days.”

The three players in question now face a race against time to make PSG’s opening Ligue 1 fixture against Lens next Thursday, as French citizens are required to self-isolate for at least eight days after testing positive for Covid-19.

PSG were worried about other players testing positive after Paredes and Di Maria's result on Monday.

Reports at first suggested Mauro Icardi was the third man in question.

Keylor Navas and Neymar were both in Ibiza last week following the end of the season.

Neymar was spotted with famous faces while on the White Isle and may have contracted the virus while in Spain.

The Brazilian has had a tough few weeks after losing the Champions League final, which left him in tears on the pitch in Lisbon.

But Neymar admits he wants to stay at PSG and reach the showpiece once again.
