Real Madrid are planning a summer bid for PSG star Kylian Mbappe after the striker publicly vented his frustration at manager Thomas Tuchel.
The French star reacted angrily to being taken off with 20 minutes remaining during the Parisian's win over Montpellier at the weekend.
Mbappe is PSG's leasing light and during conversations with Tuchel and the club's sporting director Leonardo he hit out at the German's treatment of him.
But Spanish football expert Guillem Balague insists the World Cup winner's actions have nothing to do with potentially forcing through a move to Los Blancos.
He said: "This is not a strategy to get to Real Madrid - a strategy is already in place.
"When he finishes his contract in a year and a half the plan is then for Real Madrid to have everything in place for him to go to the Bernabeu.
"Not yet though, perhaps it won't be until the end of his contract but certainly Real Madrid will try to get him in almost every summer window.
"So they'll try again - PSG will almost certainly say no - but eventually they think he will be a Real Madrid player."
Despite their coming together Tuchel has dismissed fears the 20-year-old may now seek pastures new
“I can’t think that Mbappe might use this situation as a reason to leave the club,” Tuchel told reporters on Tuesday.
“He is one of our players, he has a contract. I took that decision and this is the coach’s job.”
