Thomas Lemar is reportedly interesting two Premier League clubs with the Atletico Madrid midfielder having been linked with a move away from the Spanish capital.

Arsenal have been credited with interest in Lemar in the past and are believed to have made a bid for the Frenchman back in 2017.

Goal report that a pair of Prem clubs are interested in Lemar, though it is not clear which two sides.

It’s claimed that Atletico are looking to push through a permanent transfer having had loan enquiries this summer.

Loan deals are reportedly not being ruled out, though any move is believed to need to include a commitment to buy in 2021.

Any issue could come with Atletico wanting to remove a sizeable salary, suggesting that any Premier League club would need to spend big.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been keen to strengthen his midfield and did not rule out signings following the win over West Ham on Saturday.

“I think they've been really good since I joined the club [Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos],” he said after the victory.

“Not only then but also this season, he deserved to play again today but I just wanted to rotate.

“I thought it was a game where we were going to attack the spaces and the way they defended, we wanted to create some situations with Dani there but if we can strengthen the team then we're going to try and do that. Until the market is gone, everything is still open.
