Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho was seen shining his shoes and dancing following his side’s win over West Brom.

Spurs briefly went top of the Premier League after Harry Kane’s late strike made it five wins from their first eight games.

The north London side finished the weekend in second after Leicester moved above them by beating Wolves.

But Tottenham manager Mourinho was clearly still a happy man following his side’s strong start to the campaign.

Footage released by the club shows Mourinho in the Tottenham dressing room shining his shoes with a towel.

He then does a little celebratory jig while sitting on a chair, clearly in a jubilant mood.

"When a team is champion, or plays for the title, there is always a direct relation to your direct opponents," he said.

"I could say that this team could be champions in many European countries. It's so difficult in the Premier League though. There are so many good clubs.

"I promise you I'm not bothered about Leicester vs Wolves or City vs Liverpool. I just want us to win games and then we'll see where we are."

While Alan Shearer has praised Tottenham for their fine early season form, saying: “Spurs have now gone seven games unbeaten in the league since losing at home to Everton on the opening weekend in what was a poor performance.
