Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has shared an image of a heavily swollen left ankle after making his first start for the club in the win over Southampton.
After a frustrating start to life at Old Trafford, Van de Beek has made back-to-back start for United and caught the eye with his displays.
At the St Mary's Stadium on Sunday, Van de Beek was heavily involved as United mounted a second-half fightback after being 2-0 down at half-time and he paid the price physically as he ended the match with a swollen ankle.
In a post on his Instagram page, Van de Beek posted a picture of his left foot which had ballooned in size and had stud marks.
Van de Beek wrote in the caption: "Welcome to the Premier League."
Meanwhile, Edinson Cavani has apologised for his social media post which included a Spanish phrase that can deemed offensive in some circumstances.
After his two goals in the win over Southampton, Cavani took to Instagram to share an Instagram story from a friend and replied with a phrase which has potentially landed him in trouble.

He said: "The message I posted after the match on Sunday was intended as an affectionate greeting to a friend, thanking him for his congratulations after the game.
"The last thing I wanted to do was cause offence to anyone.
