Khabib Nurmagomedov has left fans in awe after footage emerged of the UFC legend producing an electric burst of pace in a recent celebrity football match.

Khabib claims to have retired from MMA following his dominant victory over Justin Gaethje back in October, which improve his flawless professional record to 29-0.

The Russian insists he will not step foot in the Octagon ever again, despite bitter rival Conor McGregor clamouring for a rerun of their ill-tempered 2018 bout.

Khabib is currently out in the United Arab Emirates ahead of his cousin Umar’s UFC debut on Fight Island later this month.

He is a popular figure in the Middle East, and over the weekend he was invited to take part in a celebrity football match alongside fellow UFC star Islam Makhachev.

Khabib and Makhachev captained each team in the match, which also saw Real Madrid and AC Milan legend Clarence Seedorf and celebrity chef Ozdemir take part.

During the match, Khabib displayed lightning speed to get past Ozedmir on the wing, with a clip of his burst of pace doing the rounds on social media.

Fans quickly took to Twitter express how shocked and impressed they were by the former lightweight champion’s footballing talent, while some have even joked that he should be signed up professionally.
