If you’re a Universal fan you’ve likely been to the Orlando park.
And, it’s a pretty out-of-this-world experience.
Well, in big news, Universal Studios are set to open their fifth theme park in a few months.
The Beijing park was first announced in 2014 with a £2.52 billion investment.
Then, last year, building began in earnest – and it’s set to open in May 2021.
But, what does it look like inside?
There will be seven themed zones based around a different movie franchise each.
Do you have a favourite theme park? Let us know why you love it in the comments section...
The top spot is taken by the Wizarding World of Harry Potter which is set to attract magic fans from around the globe.
This section will feature Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey – a rollercoaster.
An artist concept shows that fans can expect a Diagon Alley-esque shopping area with snowy buildings and Hogsmede pub.
The next section is Jurassic World Isla Nublar.
Based around the movie franchise there are bound to be dinosaurs galore.
While information is low on the ground about this zone, there is set to be a 3D experience and a 360 degree rollercoaster.
Perfect for adrenaline junkies.
Palm trees, and gothic buildings appear to be part of the set for Jurassic World.
The third zone is called King-Fu Panda: The Land of Awesome.
Fans can meet lovable Po and his tough pals in their homeland.
There’s also a Transformers Zone, a Minion Land (who doesn’t love those yellow rascals) and a Waterworld zone.
Waterworld is set to be the first of its kind in any Universal park and is based on the 1995 post-apocalyptic movie by the same name.
Finally, the entrance to the park will follow a familiar pattern and boast the name Hollywood Boulevard.
It’s based on the real LA area and will have a music plaza, food court and “Lights, Camera, Action!” show hosted by Steven Spielberg and Zhang Yimou.
We can’t wait until travel becomes easier so we can jet off to Beijing!
