There's been speculation around him being signed for the ITV ratings juggernaut, especially since the star, 26, left his role as a professional on Strictly Come Dancing.
After a successful run on the BBC1 dance show, AJ said goodbye to the ballroom and is now saying hello to I'm A Celeb.
In a savage dig towards his old job over on Strictly, the clean-cut star has admitted he believes I'm A Celeb is a "better show".
AJ was a part of the Strictly family for years and he can’t wait to take part in what he describes as "the best programme on TV".
As well as this, he says he's actually excited for the digital detox that comes with the show and that he will undoubtedly put 110 percent effort into winning stars for his campmates.
He explains in an entry interview: "Doing I’m A Celebrity is a childhood dream come true.
"I was so excited to watch the return of Strictly this Autumn, but now I am going to be on an even better show! I can’t wait!”
“I think my friends from Strictly like Neil (Jones)and Janette (Manrara) are going to watch, which is really nice.
"They have always known how much I have wanted to do this programme as I have talked about it all the time!”
AJ continued to reveal what he's most looking forward to: "When I walk into the camp for the first time, I will be like the kid in the candy shop!
“People see me on Strictly with fake tan and sparkles but nobody knows me.
"It will be nice for people to see me and get to know who I am.”
I'm A Celebrity kicks off on ITV on Sunday November 15
